Shopping for immediate family, close friends, a special teacher, or your favorite neighbor? When buying online for those on your “nice list” this holiday season, you can help support a worthwhile cause and help to put an end to cancer.

HERE'S HOW:

From November 12 to December 31, 2012, when you use your MasterCard® card for any online purchase of $10 or more, MasterCard will donate up to $2 million to Stand Up To Cancer – one precious cent at a time.*

Stand Up To Cancer’s goal is to accelerate groundbreaking cancer research to get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives.

*Certain terms and conditions apply. This promotion applies to online purchases and online bill payments of $10 or more from 11/12/12 – 12/31/12 made with MasterCard cards issued by U.S. financial institutions in all 50 states. The Promotion will end when we meet our $2 million goal. Offline, PIN based, international transactions and returns are not eligible.

As I typed this they were over halfway there:

Pretty cool, and an easy way to help a wonderful organization.

Now for the Billy Jo update. She slept through the night. They just gave her more meds and a bath. She was trying to say something for 5-10 minutes but it was unintelligible. She is back asleep. The only thing I could understand was 'I love you'. I still don't think she knows she is here, or if she does, she doesn't care.

I slept, but the med schedule means many interruptions that wake me - still, those are a walk in the park compared to battling a monster for two-three hours.
