Pedal Another Mile

Bicycling, death, life after death.

What is left to say at this point?

I said I'd update again tonight, so here it is:

She's not better and not really worse. One thing I left out (I think) from the last post is that since 7am she has had no expressions whatsoever. No grimacing when they roll her, insert the suppositories, nothing, She is quite literally a living corpse at this point. It is as nerve-wracking and  depressing as can be.

Her fever broke - down to 99.5. Pulse was 150 at last check. Breaths are very very shallow.

I'm going to try and psych myself out - I don't think tonight is the night. Let's see if that works.

At any rate, we are close enough to the end (at least that's what they keep telling me) that I think I am going to take a break from multiple updates per day. I may not even post another one until she passes. I am exhausted and as the title says, what is left to say?

So stay tuned - just don't be alarmed if there's no post tomorrow. There will be one soon.

Thank you again for all your thoughts, well wishes, and prayers.

I'll be in touch when Billy Jo is finally at rest.
